1. Purpose

This policy explains how DatoroMedia (“we,” “us,” “our”) ensures that access to content on our websites is restricted to adults of legal age by using trusted external verification partners (“third-party age verification providers”). Our goal is to prevent minors from accessing age-restricted content while protecting user privacy and complying with applicable laws.

2. Age Requirement

Access to our websites and any age-restricted areas is permitted only to users who are 18 years of age or older, or who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

By using this site or attempting to access restricted content, you confirm that you meet the minimum legal age, you understand the nature of the content, and you will not permit any minor to access the site through your account, devices, or supervision.

3. Use of Third-Party Verification

  1. Initiation
    When you first attempt to access age-restricted content, or during registration or login if applicable, you will be redirected or prompted to complete verification through one of our approved external age verification providers.
  2. Verification Procedure
    The verification provider may request valid government-issued identity documents and a live selfie or other liveness check. These providers perform automated checks to confirm that the document belongs to you and that you are of legal adult age. After successful verification, a secure Age Token is issued to us confirming your eligibility.
  3. Token Validation
    The Age Token is encrypted and contains no personally identifying data visible to us. Each time you log in or access restricted content, our system validates the token for integrity, expiration, and authenticity. If the token is invalid, expired, or revoked, you must re-verify before access is granted.
  4. Revalidation and Expiry
    Tokens may expire after a defined period. When a token expires, you will be asked to complete verification again to obtain a fresh token.

4. Data, Privacy, and Minimization

  • We do not receive or store your identity documents, biometric images, or raw verification data.
  • We only handle the anonymized Age Token and verification status.
  • No personally identifiable information is retained by us for verification purposes.
  • All communications between you, us, and our verification partners are encrypted.
  • Each verification provider acts as an independent data controller for any personal information you provide during verification and governs it under its own privacy policy.

5. Security and Integrity

  • We validate tokens using cryptographic checks to ensure they were legitimately issued and are untampered.
  • All data exchanges use secure encrypted channels.
  • Access to token validation systems and audit logs is restricted to authorized personnel.
  • Our systems are designed so that unverified users or invalid tokens cannot access age-restricted content.

6. Fraud Prevention and Misuse

  • Attempts to falsify identity, misrepresent age, submit fraudulent documents, or bypass verification are prohibited.
  • We may deny or revoke access and block accounts that violate this policy.
  • We may require re-verification or additional proof in suspicious cases.

7. Recordkeeping and Audit Readiness

  • We maintain anonymized logs of token issuance events, validation checks, and token failures.
  • These logs do not include personal identification data and are retained only for compliance and system integrity purposes.
  • We may provide these logs to authorized auditors or regulators upon lawful request.

We periodically review this policy and our integration with external verification partners to maintain alignment with laws, standards, and technology. Updates will be posted here with a revised Last Updated date.
